 HOLYCOW!!! Did Elaine just post a CHINESE SONG???? My goodness!!! what the heck!

Anyway! I saw this Chinese music special interview thing with this guy, Guang Liang, while visiting a relative during Chinese New Year in Kuantan. And the dude was REALLY REALLY REALLY funny! Well I don't understand Chinese, so I was reading the subs ahahahaha... But anyway, he was damn funny. After the interview, he sang this song, Tong Hua and it was REALLY REALLY good!!!

I got my lil 12-year-old cousin to pin yin it for me and I went and downloaded the song.

AWESOME dude, AWESOME.

And oh, I found out he's actually from Malaysia =_=;;

And also, I HAD checked him out before, like 2 years ago... when I went to see Jarod in Phily he had given me the songs... ahahahaha

Winnie sings in English but they're a Japanese band... Quite a good band. Has very heavy guitar and driving bassline type of songs... A good cross between Mid to late 90s American alternative sounds with a twinge of Brit Pop.

This is my favorite track.

The Local Art - 泣かない泣けない約束

Today's random download was The Local Art and their single 泣かない泣けない約束. Turns out to be a really cool song.. A very Japanese song, as in well... not much of a trace of British or American styles... The vocals too are very Japanese...

A good rock song, like those you would hear as the ending soundtracks of Japanese dramas, seriously!!! Those really powerful and very well studio arranged rock songs... They're not a major major band though they sound like it! (for this song anyway!)

Anyway, I really like it.. They don't sound like Lunkhead or Tsubaki or Art-School nor the other bands... Like I said, it really sounds like those songs you would hear in soundtracks to dramas! haha...
