GReeeeN - Kiseki

Here's GReeeen's Kiseki! Kimura-san introduced this song to me during our class yesterday. I had introduced Lunkhead to him and he recommended some songs to me and Kiseki was one of them.

Awesome pop song! Really catchy and really gets to you! Also, it has very meaningful lyrics... It's quite simple to understand some parts of it, so I could understand parts of the song! ^_^

Anyway, it's a really cool song! I'm not too much into pop but these dudes are great! And apparently, they're all dentists! Which explains the teeth and smile (and GRIN) on their album covers... And apparently, before they graduated from university, even after the release of their albums, no one knew their faces! ahahahaa..

Neways, check it!

Galileo Galilei - 雨のちガリレオ

This band is from Hokkaido. They're really young... Two members are 18 and another just 16. Nevertheless, I think they're a good band to look out for. They just relased their first major album last month, entitled 「雨のちガリレオ」. I thought this was a good album! A  good start, actually.

Their sounds are still quite raw and the arrangement simple (as compared to other more "veteran" j-rock bands, I suppose!). although there wasn't of course one track that made me go "WOW", I thought the songs were good rock songs, very listenable, and a good rock album for casual listening!

Well, check it anyhow...

This is my favourite track off the album =)

Anyone who wants a taste of the OLD BEST OF BRIT POP back in 94 to 96, you MUST TOTALLY check out this album, Supercar's A.

It's like a throwback to 90s Brit Pop in its entirety.... TOTALLY. Except, of course, it's all sung in Japanese!

That small fact aside, I cannot begin to describe how COMPLETELY this album permeates and captures the 90s Brit Pop sound... HELL, this album should have been released in 1996! Seriously!

Check it!!! All you aging Brit Pop fans!!!
